Your Job as Commercial Sales Representative

We are looking for a highly motivated Commercial Sales Representative in our Ethnic department, serving Asian supermarkets. As the central point of contact for our customers, your main goal is to ensure customer satisfaction while growing sales and margins according to established goals.

You will report to the Inside Sales Manager and manage your own customer portfolio. Your responsibilities include ensuring proper processing of orders and quote requests, overseeing timely order placement, and assessing customer creditworthiness. You will actively find out your customers' needs and come up with appropriate solutions.

In addition to this, you will play a crucial role in after-sales by professionally managing and resolving customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also contribute to sales success by actively gathering market information during customer calls and sharing valuable insights with the team to further optimize sales strategies.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Process orders and quote requests efficiently
  • Oversee timely order placement and assess customer creditworthiness
  • Actively gather market information during customer calls and share insights with the team
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints professionally
  • Support the field sales team where necessary

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a candidate who has a commercial drive and is not afraid to pick up the phone. You should be able to find a balance between scoring and maintaining a good relationship with your customers. You are precise and accurate, with excellent communication skills. Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.

Requirements

  • MBO+ working and thinking level
  • Fluent English language skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of Asian cultures or an Asian language is a plus
  • Several years of experience in a similar role (preferably)
  • Knowledge of MS Office and SAP (or willingness to learn)

Compensation and Benefits
