About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Experience Specialist to join our Digital Workplace team at TomTom. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and maintaining the best-in-class AV service for our meeting and collaboration spaces across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional AV experiences for in-room and remote participants using MS Teams/Microsoft Teams Room (MTR)
  • Create, maintain, and update an AV Runbook that serves as the definitive guide for TomTom's AV standards, ensuring seamless project implementation and alignment with our tech stack lifecycle
  • Adapt, upgrade, and maintain existing AV solutions to meet evolving business requirements and user feedback
  • Collaborate with our global team to engineer and deliver solutions for our global user community, working closely with the Product Manager and key stakeholders
  • Manage AV integration vendors remotely during various projects across TomTom offices
  • Develop and maintain AV standards, ensuring all deployed solutions meet those standards
  • Ensure the AV infrastructure remains healthy, up-to-date, monitored, and centrally managed, minimizing operational overhead through automation and easy reporting
  • Lead knowledge/skill growth with the wider Support units to offload operational workload and automate processes
  • Deploy and document additional services relevant to the meeting experience, such as Room Booking and Digital Signage, across TomTom for handover to operational support
  • Handle 3rd line support related service requests and incidents for the supported technologies and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Real Estate and Facilities teams on cross-functional projects, including new offices, refreshes, and decommissioning
  • Work closely with AV partners (Neat and Microsoft) to bring the best solutions to TomTom, pushing for product features and minimizing external support needs
  • Technically lead large TT broadcast events, such as global venues (MS Teams Live Events), in collaboration with Internal Comms, partners, and suppliers, and our internal support organization
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent through work experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience and expertise in an IT engineering role focused on video conferencing and AV solutions
  • Strong understanding of AV within MS Teams and MTR
  • Familiarity with various AV platforms and solutions, as well as awareness of trends in the AV space
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage complex or escalated support issues
  • Excellent English communication skills and cross-cultural adaptability
  • Great stakeholder management
  • An open and collaborative mindset, especially with other teams in Shared Services and the Product Manager counterpart
  • Creative ideas, suggestions, and a new way of doing something (thinking out of the box)
  • Learning and adapting to new technologies
  • User-centric mindset (boosting user experience)
  • Nice understanding of network technologies/communication protocols
  • Ability to travel around the world, both to TomTom offices and to relevant events
