About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EMEA VAT Specialist to join our team at Nouryon. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for monitoring EMEA VAT legislative changes and communicating them to key stakeholders. You will also be the first point of contact for VAT-related questions within the business and continuously improve VAT processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor EMEA VAT legislative changes and communicate them to key stakeholders
- Continuously improve VAT processes for the EMEA region
- Act as a first point of contact for EMEA VAT-related questions within the organization
- Contribute to projects that have touchpoints with EMEA VAT
- Assist with the preparation of timely responses to tax audits/inquiries for the EMEA region

Requirements

- 3-4 years' experience in EMEA VAT
- Thorough understanding of EMEA VAT regulations
- Good understanding of and hands-on experience with EMEA VAT compliance activities
- Experience with indirect tax processes within multinational companies
- Ability to translate indirect tax rules into business requirements
