Job Description
The Floor Manager will be responsible for leading a team of sales assistants to achieve excellent standards of service, analyzing selling information, and working with the store manager to maximize sales performance.
The ideal candidate will have previous management experience in a retail environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead, train, and develop a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer customers a high level of service through styling advice, product knowledge, and store experience.
- Analyze selling information and work with the store manager to maximize sales performance.
- Lead a team of sales assistants to achieve excellent standards of service.
- Support recruitment and ensure induction and training for new starters.
- Assist the store manager in identifying future talents and developing plans for their progression.
- Oversee store operations and be a COS brand ambassador.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year management experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, train, and develop a team.
- Customer-focused, self-motivated, and positive with a genuine interest in others.
- Adaptable and open to learning about and selling our products.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, as well as good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial abilities and an interest in fashion and retail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and evenings when required.
