As a seasoned Microsoft Exchange Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading the team responsible for delivering Microsoft 365 Mail services (Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities

  • You will maintain and improve our services as part of a cross-functional team of peers and customer journey experts, prioritizing employee satisfaction.
  • You will collaborate with the Product Manager and IT Area Lead to prioritize activities for the Messaging Team.
  • You will stay current with Microsoft updates and technologies, recommending improvements and change design requests.
  • You will work closely with your colleagues to develop and automate services, ensuring they are robust, secure, and reliable.
  • You will monitor email system performance, resolve issues, and guarantee access to reliable email services.
  • You will partner with key stakeholders at Microsoft to drive service enhancements and address technical challenges.
  • You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contribute to security measures and policy implementation.
  • You will participate in agile working practices, setting priorities and driving project delivery.
  • You will share responsibilities with other teams to resolve 3rd line incidents and participate in standby services.

Your Profile

We are seeking seasoned IT professionals with at least 5 years of experience in comparable roles and ideally the following qualifications:

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • You have IT experience managing complex Exchange (Online) environments in enterprise-level multinational organizations, with relevant Microsoft 365 certifications.
  • You have expertise in automation using PowerShell and Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • You possess current knowledge of IT security principles, specifically email security protocols and compliance standards applicable to Microsoft 365 services.
  • You have experience with eDiscovery, Retention, and Compliance in relation to email.
  • You understand outsourcing principles on operational, tactical, and strategic levels, with E2E accountability of WPS services.
  • You have preferably worked in highly regulated environments like financial institutions with segregation between Risk, Audits, Security, etc.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary tailored to your qualities and experience. Our benefits package includes:

  • A salary range of €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • 24-27 vacation days, depending on contract.
  • Pension scheme.
  • 13th month salary.
  • Individual Savings Contribution (BIS), 3.5% of gross annual salary.
