Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our housekeeping team. As a Housekeeping Turndown Agent, you will be responsible for providing evening housekeeping services, including tidying rooms, replenishing supplies, and creating a welcoming ambiance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform evening turndown service, ensuring rooms are prepared for a comfortable night's rest.
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners, refreshing towels and bathroom amenities.
  • Replenish room supplies, such as water, snacks, and toiletries.
  • Tidy up the room, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ensure all guest requests and preferences are met with attention to detail.
  • Check for and report any maintenance issues or damage in the guest rooms.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Salary and Benefits

As a Housekeeping Turndown Agent with the Amstel Hotel, you can expect a competitive salary of €25,000 per year, plus benefits that include travel costs for distances over 5 km, a personal budget for training, and a 50% discount on F&B at partner hotels in Amsterdam.
