Working in a dynamic food environment, Newrest is seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Production Employee.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our menu offerings.

• Measure ingredients accurately according to portion control guidelines and instructions.

• Collect serving plates, dispose of food, and adhere to guidelines.

• Assist in setting up and serving special meals.

• Place products in cooling fridges or designated waiting areas.

• Complete assigned production schedules as directed by Team-Lead, Lead-Hand, or Manager.

• Organize labels for production and edit as necessary.

• Perform food packaging and storing according to safety requirements and customer instructions.

• Tag racks according to company standards and processes.

• Ensure leftover ingredients and packaging materials are properly labelled and stored.

• Retrieve ingredients or packaging materials from the warehouse, fridge, or waiting area.

• Record activities, report unsanitary practices or unsafe conditions.

• Maintain a clean workstation, ensure sanitation before and after shifts.

• Ensure racks are properly identified, wrapped, and moved away from chemicals or hazardous substances.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to work in room temperature and cold environments.

• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.

• Good knowledge of HACCP is an asset (training will be provided).

• Attendance, diligence, punctuality, and reliability.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

What We Offer:

  • Contract for 1 year with the possibility of a fixed contract.
  • Salary indication: 2317.
  • Irregularity allowance.
  • 8% vacation allowance.
  • 8.33% year-end bonus.
  • 25 vacation days and 13 ATV days.
  • Travel allowance.
