Documentalist Expert

Serco is a leading Space Services Provider with a strong presence in the European market, supporting over 50 space missions on behalf of various government agencies and international partners. We are seeking a skilled Documentalist to join our team at the esteemed ESA-ESTEC site in the Netherlands.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for performing document management and control tasks, as well as administrative duties, to support the Project Management Support Offices and Organisational Units within ESA Directorates.
• Key responsibilities include coordinating ESA final reports, ensuring correct document versioning and archiving, and preparing internal review and publication of documents prepared by ESA Executive for the Programme Board.

1. Support the preparation of documents, including formatting, document versioning control, and coordination of ESA final reports.
2. Coordinate the publication of documents prepared by ESA Executive for the Programme Board, ensuring correct security and safeguarding of content.
3. Perform proof reading, formatting, and editing to ensure documents are structured, written, and formatted consistently.
4. Produce or modify document templates to ensure compliance with GCDs or DRDs for recurrent documentation.
5. Plan, coordinate, and track document readiness for submission to ensure timely delivery of formal documents.
6. Generate documents, including flow-charts, graphics, proof reading, content compilation, and editing for recurrent or non-recurrent ESA documents/reports.

• A bachelor's degree from a recognized institution or equivalent qualification in Business Administration (or Communications as relevant).
• At least 4 years of previous relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as tact and discretion.
• Proficiency in the use of Agency's information systems and tools is an asset.
• Proficient in English language, both written and spoken.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
