Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious apprentice mechanic workshop to join our team at Vaessen Recruitment. As an apprentice mechanic workshop, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and overhauling Caterpillar machines with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining, repairing and overhauling Caterpillar machines with an eye for detail and quality.
  • Learning to detect technical problems and advising on the best approach for repair or overhaul.
  • Carrying out a variety of technical work, using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and consulting with the chief engineer to ensure all work is performed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Contribute to a safe and tidy working environment by following safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness.
Requirements
  • A strong affinity with technology.
  • Independence, pro-activity and a solution-oriented attitude, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
