Packing Machine Installation and Maintenance

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and optimisation of packing machines worldwide. This includes performing repairs, overhauls, preventive maintenance, and resolving faults to achieve optimal customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing packing machines or installations on site
  • Commissioning and adjusting packing machines or installations with respect to mechanical, electrical, and software-related work
  • Starting up packing machines or installations, adjusting and optimising all operations and process parameters, testing, and synchronising upstream/downstream installations
  • Instructing and training client operators and maintenance engineers
  • Analysing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and/or software faults
  • Performing required maintenance, repair, and overhaul work
  • Consulting clients and service coordinators/project managers about technical and organisational issues
  • Answering client questions and providing advice
  • Ensuring timely and correct administrative management of completed work
  • Transferring/closing projects with Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
  • Reporting progress of work to clients and MPAC organisation in writing
  • Timely reporting deviations to Service Coordinator and Project Manager
  • Translating client feedback to internal organisation
  • Holding Post-Installation Meetings
  • Discussing MPAC Service Programme with clients
