We are seeking a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in logistics and supply chain management to make a real impact.

About the Role

The Global Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating production activities, optimizing processes, and collaborating closely with internal and external customers. This role is crucial in ensuring on-time delivery, efficiency, quality, and cost control within our Supply Chain team.

As a key player in our logistics network, you will work closely with our production team to plan customer orders according to scheduling restrictions, raw material availability, and production capacity. You will also be responsible for purchasing raw materials, managing customer orders, and shipping products according to correct incoterms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning: Coordinate with production to plan customer orders, taking into account scheduling restrictions, raw material availability, and production capacity.
  • Raw Materials Purchasing: Source and purchase raw materials from approved suppliers.
  • Order Management: Enter customer orders into the ERP system, manage order acknowledgments, and ensure accurate shipment of products.
  • Shipping: Prepare shipping documents according to correct incoterms and invoice shipped batches accurately.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and basic understanding of MS Office. Familiarity with planning and logistic concepts is essential, as well as written and verbal English language skills.

We offer a competitive salary based on knowledge, experience, and education. Additional benefits include 28 days off per year, 8% holiday allowance, 4% end-of-year bonus, Flex Benefit Allowance of 2.5% of annual gross salary, and a pension plan.
