Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Decarbonisation Solutions Strategist to join our Global Decarbonisation Hub (GDH) team. As a key member of our team, you will support our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in developing and executing decarbonisation strategies across various sectors. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting member firms with strategically important proposals, pitches, and client delivery work
  • Contributing to KPMG's growth plans by working with sectors, functions, and SMEs to leverage resources and enable partners to initiate conversations related to decarbonisation with clients
  • Developing decarbonisation solution methodologies, GTM approach, and executing roll-out plans

As a Decarbonisation Solutions Strategist, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborate with global teams, and develop your skills in business development, consulting, and sustainability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of decarbonisation solutions and strategies
  • Experience in business development or consulting, particularly in origination, bids, and pursuits
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, build networks, and relationships across key stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation skills, especially with senior audiences

You will also need to possess a solid educational background and qualifications, preferably in a climate-related field, and have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
