Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our IT & Data department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of airport operations by developing and maintaining advanced data processing platforms.

Salary and Benefits

This exciting opportunity comes with a competitive salary of € 5173 to € 7176 gross per month (Schaal 13), plus a 13th month bonus. You will also enjoy a flexible work arrangement, working 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week, and a fully reimbursed NS Business Card for travel expenses.

Job Description

In this challenging role, you will:

  • Design, build, and maintain a modern data processing platform that enables real-time insights and predictive analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement AI-driven solutions to predict and prevent aircraft delays, ensuring optimal airport efficiency and reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with at least 8 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
  • IT fundamentals, data security, and privacy expertise.
  • Experience with large datasets and modern data engineering.
