Estimated Salary: €25,000 - €35,000 per year

Job Description

We are seeking a strong Host/Hostess who can provide excellent customer service and ensure a pleasant experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling reservations, and communicating effectively with staff and guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and seating guests: You will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing warm greetings and ensuring they are comfortable throughout their dining experience.
  • Managing reservations: You will manage the restaurant's reservation system, handle phone calls, and accommodate last-minute walk-ins or VIPs.
  • Reports & Overviews: You will maintain accurate records, track restaurant progression, and provide regular reports to the Head Host/Hostess.
  • Guest Satisfaction: You will work closely with the General Manager and Head Host/Hostess to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills: You must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and staff.
  • Ability to multitask: You should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, greeting guests, and managing reservations.
  • Organizational skills: You should be able to keep track of reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: You must be able to work efficiently and calmly under pressure.
  • Attention to detail: You should be able to pay close attention to detail, ensuring that tables are set up correctly, guests' requests are met, and menus are clean.
  • Professional appearance: You should have a professional demeanor and appearance, as you will often be the face of the restaurant.
  • International approach: You must be able to communicate fluently in English.
  • Software: You should be proficient in using Office 365.
