Contract Manager

TenneT is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our team in Arnhem. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for managing contracts and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage contracts and negotiate terms and conditions with contractors
- Develop and implement contracting strategies to ensure compliance with TenneT's requirements and standards
- Collaborate with project teams and procurement to define contracting strategies and advise on MEAT criteria
- Support the project team in processing and enforcing counterclaims and own claims
- Participate in the drafting of contracts and examination of contracts and specifications
- Coordinate and align with other contract managers to ensure uniform interpretation of contractual clauses and treatment of claims
- Regularly report to responsible overall project managers
- Support project management and purchasing for contractual issues and correspondence
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Contract Manager for major construction projects
- Preferably experience in offshore business
- First-hand experience with FIDIC yellow or silver book (EPC approach)
- Legal and/or Commercial and/or Technical background/ university degree
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive and accurate with a task-oriented approach
