Job Description:

The Front Desk Supervisor at W Amsterdam plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless guest arrivals and departures. This position involves supervising a team of bell staff, coordinating luggage services, and providing a warm welcome to guests.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Bell Team: Supervise and train bell staff to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Luggage Coordination: Coordinate luggage services, including storage and retrieval, to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Guest Relations: Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and answer any guest queries.

This role requires exceptional leadership, communication skills, and attention to detail to ensure a refined and welcoming experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Safety and Security: Follow company safety and security policies and procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment.
  • Policies and Procedures: Protect guest and coworker privacy, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Guest Relations: Address guest service needs professionally, positively, and timely, anticipating their needs and engaging them in conversation.
  • Communication: Exchange information with coworkers, supervisors, and managers discreetly and quietly, avoiding public areas.
  • Quality Assurance: Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards to maintain exceptional service.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role
  • Fluency in English (Dutch and other languages are an asset)
  • Experience in luxury segment is an advantage
  • Work Permit for The Netherlands is required
  • Driver's license B is mandatory
