Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for defining critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory, planning strategy, and developing key relationships to ensure a strong foundation for solution selling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory, plan strategy, and develop key relationships to ensure a strong foundation for solution selling.
  • Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts who may be determining design opportunities and deal with existing business challenges.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction as it pertains to supply chain management and other value-added services.
  • Prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, demand creation, and improve customer service.
  • Experience creating demand for Arrow products and services, working with engineers and designers to specify, select, and resolve electronic board designs with Arrow franchised suppliers.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar position within software solutions sales in IT channel sales or end-user sales.
  • A full driving license and readiness to travel.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Dutch - native/fluent.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and develop strategic business relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a hardworking and proactive approach.
  • Effective communication with people at all levels.
  • Natural propensity to adopt a structured approach, managing time in the office and on the road, determining key decision makers, and the dynamics of sales of complex projects.
  • Ability to learn product benefits and solution sales concepts, including working with alliance vendors.
  • Problem-solving and capacity to follow through on a task to conclusion.
