Desktop Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at GfK. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our global users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
- Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, including hardware and software updates.
- Collaborate with IT team members to address complex issues and contribute to the development of IT solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, Azure AD, Office365, SharePoint/OneDrive.
- Experience with VDI infrastructure is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective customer support.
