Job DescriptionRole OverviewThe PMO Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of 4 to 8 PMOs, providing strategic direction, and clarifying expectations. This role combines the responsibilities of Business Line PMO Product Group Officer and Business Line PMO Team Lead.
- Manage, engage, and develop a team of 4 to 8 PMOs;
- Provide strategic direction by interpreting business needs into team deliverables;
- Clarify expected results from team members;
- Select and decide on hiring new PMO employees and support team members in their personal development;
- Organize team and meeting structure.
The PMO Team Lead will also be responsible for:
- Challenging the triple constraint as a recognized business partner to optimize business value;
- Driving effective decision-making on all levels;
- Implementing and improving project (program) standards and processes, including project planning, financial management, product generation process, reporting, change control, risk management, and quality;
- Providing guidance during financial forecasting (budget) process and proactively assisting regular financial management and reporting;
- Pro-actively connecting, enabling, and challenging all stakeholders;
- Growing people and team competences of PMO and ASML's Project Management community, e.g., by driving, participating, leading, and implementing cross-PMO improvement projects;
- Creating winning teams by living our values and building capabilities for the future.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree;
- Relevant Project/Program/Portfolio Management (PMO) work experience;
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role in combination with 8+ years working experience as a Project/Program/Portfolio Management (PMO) expert in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment;
- Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects or ability to do so;
- Preferably experience in an Agile/SAFe environment.

- Excellent communication skills, being able to influence without hierarchical power, and creative in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders;
- Maintains personal effectiveness and people focus under pressure, high speed of change, and uncertainty;
- Ability to guide, coach, and advise at all organizational levels to effect sustainable change and improve the project and process maturity level of the organization;
- Team player, enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with the ability to work independently;
- Takes ownership, gets things done, and pro-actively drives for improvement.
ASML offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development. The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and location. This is a full-time position (40 hours). Working part-time is negotiable as long as you're available at least 32 hours.
