About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cable and Survey to join our team at TenneT. As a key member of our Engineering & Services department, you will be responsible for leading a talented team of technical experts in the successful delivery of our large-scale offshore projects on the North Sea.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of technical experts to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Foster a continuous learning environment, driving improvements and cost reduction across all projects.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across TenneT to minimize risks and optimize outcomes.
  • Oversee design reviews and quality assurance, ensuring improvements are made both in the engineering phase and during construction.
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards, while actively contributing to the development of new processes and business practices.
  • Manage team resources, making sure we have the right people in place to deliver on our ambitious goals.

About the Team

The Cable & Survey team is responsible for all aspects regarding cable routing, geological and UXO survey, and technical issues during the cable laying operation. This is a challenging field of work due to changing environmental and geological conditions, complex drilling through protected or crowded areas, and implementing new cable laying techniques.
