Lithography Machine Conditioning

ASML is seeking a talented Mechanical Lead Engineer to join our Machine Conditioning department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the conceptualization, detailed hardware design, and technical product documentation of our lithography machines. Your expertise in temperature control and gas conditioning will play a crucial role in reducing the environmental footprint of our machines and contributing to our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate performance specifications into design specifications for (sub-)modules.
  • Guide technical discussions towards the best design solution that meets all requirements and implementation.
  • Ensure the design is documented with proper models and drawings.
  • Cooperate with customers and suppliers as input for the hardware roadmap and to close the feedback loop.
  • Coach and guide junior designers in making high-quality designs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical and industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, or related fields.
  • Solid design experience in the relevant industry.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in a lead engineer role.
  • Excellent knowledge in manufacturability of mechanical parts.
  • Technical communication with suppliers.
  • Experience with NX (Unigraphics) or similar CAD program.
