At Tangelo Software, you'll find yourself in an informal, no-nonsense environment where you have the freedom to work independently and bring your creativity to life. Our office in Capelle aan den IJssel is where our lab team develops groundbreaking software for clients like PostNL, KPN, and Dutch banks. The team consists of 3 back-end developers, 3 front-end developers, and a tester. You'll work on impactful projects without the red tape of a corporate culture. Hybrid working is an option, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

As a Senior Front-end Developer at Tangelo Software, you will work on greenfield projects, focusing heavily on innovation and creativity. You will also play a key role in redesigning our user interface, where you will independently explore possibilities and implement innovative solutions. Using modern front-end technologies, you'll build scalable and user-friendly interfaces. Additionally, you will act as a mentor and point of reference for your colleagues, providing support and sharing your expertise to elevate the team. You will be working with:

  • Angular > v16
  • HTML + SCSS
  • Docker
  • Linux
  • Bitbucket Pipelines
  • Testframework: Cypress and/or PlayWright.


Job Requirements

You thrive on independently discovering new possibilities and creating innovative solutions. You also enjoy mentoring colleagues and guiding their growth.

  • At least 8 years of experience in front-end development, with a minimum of 4 years working with Angular.
  • You are experienced in Greenfield projects and accustomed to building from scratch.
  • Experience with other JavaScript frameworks such as React and Vue.js is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience creating scalable solutions.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Self-reliant, analytical, and strong in sharing knowledge and mentoring others.
  • Based in the Netherlands and able to be present in Capelle aan den IJssel at least 2 days per week.


Salary and Benefits
  • Salary up to €6000,- gross per month based on full-time employment.
  • Flexible working hours with up to 3 days of remote work.
  • 28 vacation days per year based on full-time employment.
  • €30,- net per month for representation allowance.
  • ax-free home office allowance of €2.35 per day.
  • Bonus scheme: 5% of your gross annual salary, based on achieving company results.
