Introduction to the job

As high pressure competence engineer you will be part of the high pressure system design competence is a formal body within ASML. It's purpose is, but not limited to: acts as a repository of knowledge, ensures preservation and scalability of the competence by knowledge sharing and adaption; Prescribe proven industry standards and/or define companywide standards or best practices; Provide training and/or coaching towards employees in the company. Explores new territories within the domain of the competence.

The high pressure system design competence operates at the hart of the EUV source where we are working with special fluids, special materials and deigns that are pushing the boundaries of international standards and legislation.

Role and responsibilities

You’ll be guiding and enabling the D&E community involved in the development of high pressure system at and for ASML.

You’ll build your cross-sector stakeholder network and be the repository of expert knowledge.

You’ll co-develop and improve ASML’s high pressure requirements based on lessons learned and development plans on the roadmap

As high pressure competence engineer, you’ll:

Take ownership of your tasks, take initiative to drive them to completion while actively communicating with your team and stakeholders. Be a reliable and consistent partner for your stakeholders Contribute to the team’s development strategy and activities Contribute to the development and training of our D&E community Review and interpret standards and legislation and where required convert them into consolidated requirements for ASML

Education and experience

To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working with high pressure standards and requirements, products and with complex processes. As high pressure competence engineer, you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field Experience with ASME B31.3, ASME BPVC VIII and PED2014_68_EU Experience with ASME FEM and piping/vessel design software knowledge is a pre
