About the Role

We are looking for someone with a generic IT technical background to perform deployment and problem management activities in the Production environment for MIRS application. Linux (RHEL) and Ansible (aap) experience are required and other skills (Kibana, java development, AWS, Terrraform) would be a plus.

About the Product group

By joining the Product Group you will create and deliver customer-centric products in an Agile way, build an ecosystem around the Swift platform, and innovate with clients, as part of an Agiletribeor team.

MICSS tribe mission:

Market Infrastructures (MI) are key Swift customers and critical service providers for the Swift community. This customer segment is currently undergoing significant changes: next to real-time gross settlement systems (RTGS) which are migrating to ISO 20022 and renew their technology, domestic instant payment systems also being rolled-out with the expectation to open up to international transactions in the near future. This trend is very relevant for Swift since it provides an opportunity to increase the speed and availability of cross-border transactions. In view of these market changes, we are looking for strongly motivated individuals to help us evolve and enrich our solution portfolio for payment market infrastructures.

What to expect

You will work in an agile environment, in a squad focusing on the MIRS application. MIRS (Market Infrastructure Resiliency Service) is a robust RTGS third-site recovery solution. The squad is also involved in development activities for AUNPP so some AWS knowledge could be relevant.


As "System and Application management and support specialist", you will :

01. handle the software (from OS to application level) installation and upgrade activities in the Production environment, after completion of the required validation in the lower (development and qualification) environments.

02. own and handle all other required activities in the Production environment including application configuration and customization, installation and updates requested by Security, Tooling and Platform teams.

03 . Perform day-to-day systems administration/management activities

04 . perform problem management for MIRS application and systems by implementing corrective measures and identifying improvements.

05 . Interact with network and Platform teams, software systems engineering and /or applications development in order to restore availability of services and/or identify root cause of problems.

06 . May participate in the planning and implementation of system/network projects/enhancements, ensuring adherence to documented processes and procedures and risk mitigation efforts.

07 . May automate administrative tasks to improve the monitoring of applications

08. May help automating

10 . Acquire, develop and maintain technical and application knowledge in pursuance of the above objectives.

Education

University degree in IT / Engineering or equivalent experience

Experience

2-4 years of experience in a similar position in a comparable technical environment
