As a Customer Service employee, you are the first point of contact and have to build up a relationship with your own customers. You are the most important interface between client and organisation. In addition, you are responsible for:
- Managing the Order Management process in a B2B setting
- Collaborating with various departments (planning, sales, production, finance, quality) for optimal results
- Identifying trends and patterns in customer orders, ensuring adequate stock levels
- Analyzing expected demand and coordinating actions with the supply chain, sales, and customers
- Handling customer relationships through visits, trade shows, and road shows as necessary
