We are looking for freelance Tour Directors to work for: The role As a Tour Director with EF, you will lead tours of 7 to 31 days in length (with the majority being around 10 days). Every EF Tour Director must have a love for travel and a passion for sharing their experience and knowledge with students and (young) adult learners. No two days are ever the same and there is never a dull moment on tour. Working out of The EF Amsterdam Regional Office you would lead North American groups on tours mainly around the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, and major European destinations in Spring (March and April) and Summer (June).This is a  freelance seasonal position , and work will be offered and compensated on a tour-by-tour basis.Please note that, based on demand, your first tour may not be until the summer months.  Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  Educating travellers about the places and sites included on your tour Managing tour logistics  Connecting with travellers  Liaising with suppliers  Facilitating the inclusion of every person on your tour  Handling tour administration and finances Leading fun and experiential activities  Ensuring the safety of all your travellers Representing EF while on tour Requirements: Fluent written & spoken English Able to travel freely throughout the European Union and enter the United Kingdom without a VISA Available to attend a 3-day ‘In-person Introduction to EF’ Available to take a tour of up to 10 days in June Organizational skills & good attention to detail A passion for travel & education Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Resilience & a ‘nothing-is-impossible' attitude Remain calm under pressure & able to use your own initiative Flexible to adapt to ever-changing situations Comfortable with technology & using a smartphone Good to have: Preferably based in the Netherlands, Belgium, or Luxembourg Destination knowledge of the Benelux region, France, and/or the United Kingdom Understanding of North American culture A second European language (preferably French) Experience leading groups or as a group leader Still not sure if this job is for you? Check out this video to see what it means to be a Tour Director with EF:
