A unique opportunity to work for one of the most innovative, international tomato breeders. Axia is looking for a head of demo greenhouses. Within this position you are responsible for all tomato demo tests. These demonstration trials are important for collecting reliable data and for promoting our new and existing commercial varieties to customers. In our tomato demo in Naaldwijk, you and your team will harvest the trials and record the yield and quality characteristics. You also ensure that all varieties are neatly presented in our presentation room.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

You are responsible for the registration of all tomato varieties in the various demos. You are in charge of a team of enthusiastic employees. You collect and check all data registered by you and your team. You ensure that all data is processed in our system so that we have reliable data for our customers. You work closely with breeding and the sales team and participate in weekly sales meetings. You are responsible for providing product samples to customers.

We are looking for a head of demo greenhouses who works accurately, has a hands-on mentality with a big horticultural heart.

MBO-HBO working and thinking level Knowledge of and affinity with tomato cultivation Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language. Some knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excell and Power BI
