You as a Project Quality Specialist will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. You will be establishing and maintaining a quality culture within local Hitachi Energy by assuring and controlling quality with systems, tools and teams to meet customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.

Your responsibilities:
You will act as a role model for the behavior required to support a quality & continuous Improvement culture.
You will be maintaining administer and improve our certified quality management system (QMS).
Drive quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) in the organization and in execution projects ensuring compliance to customer, corporate or legal requirements.
Support projects in execution with project quality plans (PQP) master test plan (MTP) and if required factory acceptance tests (FAT).
You will review inspection test plans (ITP) and inspection test records (ITR) from suppliers for correctness and completeness according to corporate and customer quality control plans (QCP).
Assist and coordinate in internal and external audits.
You will lead improvement projects, facilitate lessons learned and best practice sessions and sharing within the organization (PDCA, DMAIC, 8D).

Your background:
You have 2 year's experience in process improvement and quality assurance roles in a projects or engineering environment.
You have a university degree is desirable, engineering or quality management an advantage.
Ability to establish, maintain and influence effective working relationships in a large and complex organization.
Capacity to communicate, result oriented, openness and listen to others.
Willingness of being a change agent with a positive attitude, challenging conventional thinking, approach and methodology and driving improvements.
Experience in internal and external audits adhering to ISO9001, auditor certified an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills if L6S YB or GB an advantage.
Proficiency in English and Dutch at an advanced level.
