What You Will Do

Reporting to the Operations Manager, provide engineering support to the Operations Team by:

Investigate quality issues on site, supporting the Quality Lead by leading RCAs, researching production issues, trend analysis etc. Trend analysis and monitoring of process and equipment to help identify emerging issues before they occur. Focus on development of the production processes to ensure Stable and Reliable Operations and drive business results improvements (yield & throughput) Support Request for Change and Management of Change processes Identifying and resolving performance constraints Leading small continuous improvement projects Providing initial research and understanding of larger problems to initiate larger capital projects with the Projects Team Offer continued support to the Project team during subsequent stages of large capital projects. Support IT & OT team in Early Warning Dashboard development as required. Support updates to procedures and site documentation. Contribute to the site’s learning culture where ideas are welcomed, challenged & executed to drive continuous improvement Demonstrate & promote a commitment to safety & operational excellence

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering 3+ years in the chemical manufacturing industry providing technical input to production processes
