Voor bol zijn we op zoek naar een Assortment Quality Specialist. Dus dé Sherlock Holmes met social skills die ons assortiment zuiver houdt Hoe maak jij onze klanten blij? Door onze 13,5 miljoen klanten keuze te geven uit louter kwaliteitsproducten – en dat zijn er al zo’n 38 miljoen. Kwaliteit is een breed begrip. Zo is er bij bol geen plaats voor haat en discriminatie. Of onveilige apparatuur. Of wapens. Boeken over homogenezing en antisemitisme weren we van ons platform. Net als biopasta dat niet 100% bio is. Of vlindermessen en werpsterren. Of fake AirPods en andere namaak. De grootste uitdaging:
We hebben meer dan 50.000 verkooppartners. Daar zitten er soms wat bij die het niet zo nauw nemen met regels, eisen, normen en waarden. Jij detecteert welke producten dubieus zijn en gaat in gesprek met de verkoper. Dat doe je met takt: je informeert, legt uit wat er aan schort en overtuigt met argumenten (‘daarom is dit product niet welkom op ons platform’). De meesten snappen dit wel, maar als ze hardleers zijn is de oplossing simpel: je ontzegt hen de toegang tot ons platform. Jammer, maar helaas. Als Assortiment Quality Specialist moet jij dus stevig in je schoenen staan.

wat ga je doen

Laten we beginnen met het leukste: je start als uitzendkracht, maar we hopen dat je je over pakweg anderhalf jaar voor langere tijd aan bol verbindt. Dat doen trouwens de meeste uitzendkrachten. En dat zegt veel over de werksfeer bij bol.

Als Assortiment Quality Specialist achterhaal je welk product niet in de haak is. Dat detecteer je met AI en machine learning. Je hoeft geen datafluisteraar te zijn, maar wel snappen hoe onze (zelf ontwikkelde) systemen werken – jouw meest ervaren collega’s leren je graag de kneepjes van het vak. Je snapt dan precies hoe je uit de data de juiste conclusies trekt. Ook check je de productdocumentatie: is die echt of is dat CE-keurmerk gefotoshopt? Blijkt er iets niet oké, dan neem je contact op met de verkoper die je de kans geeft z’n leven te beteren. Na een paar maanden zet je jouw kennis en kunde in en draag je bij aan procesverbeteringen. Samen met je collega’s zet je stippen aan de horizon: daar gaan we heen, zo gaan we het doen.

Het leuke aan deze rol is dat je kunt kijken achter de schermen van de grootste webwinkel van de Benelux. En dat je samenwerkt met jonge, hoogopgeleide mensen – de gemiddelde leeftijd is 28 – in een stimulerende, warme en open sfeer. Ook mooi: je krijgt veel verantwoordelijkheid en vertrouwen. En fouten maken mag – móet zelfs – als je er maar van leert. Over leren gesproken: 1x per week bespreek je een case met je collega’s, dat geeft je geheid waardevolle inzichten voor je eigen rol.

waar ga je werken

Je landt bij Assortment Quality in een bruisende afdeling met 50 bevlogen mensen. En daar komen er binnen kort nog vijf bij, waaronder jij (-; Je werkt binnen het team Assortment Quality Operations of Platform Authorization. Je maakt eerst vlieguren binnen Assortment Quality en daarna mag je hier blijven of elders je vleugels uitslaan. Mogelijkheden om door te groeien zijn er legio, en als bol’er heb je dan een dikke streep voor tijdens sollicitaties. Waar je ook zit, je hebt alle ruimte om je eigen werk in te delen. Wil je 32 uur werken? Prima Of liever 40 uur? Ook goed. Woensdag is vaste kantoordag, daarnaast ben je minimaal nog 1 dag bij bol. Maar als je vaker in Utrecht wilt socialisen en werken, dan moedigen we dat alleen maar aan.
