Launch your career in international development We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Intern to join our Partnerships and Business Development Team. The internship will focus on providing a valuable learning experience while supporting the team in various business development initiatives.
The Partnership & Business Development team is developing interlinked strategies and engagement plans that operationalize the goals and principles of our SNV’s 2030 Strategy. This includes engaging with new donors, exploring innovative funding mechanisms, and designing targeted approaches for our country operations.
The internship is for a six-month period with a flexible start date (ideally mid-August).
What you'll gain:

A chance to contribute to impactful work that makes a difference.The main responsibilities for you as the BD Intern will depend on the learning objectives that we will discuss with you at the beginning of the internship.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with research and writing (working papers, reports) Conducting market research to identify business opportunities Supporting virtual meetings (development, scheduling, facilitation) Preparing documents and meeting notes Contributing to knowledge management and administrative tasks Two long-term strategic assignments
Qualifications
We're looking for a passionate student:
Enrolled in a Master's program relevant to Business Development (Area Studies, International Business, International Relations, etc.) Strong written and spoken English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Strong research and social media skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Teams preferred)Note: Students who are registered at an EU education facility for the entire internship period are eligible for an internship.
