Rituals is looking for an enthusiastic creative intern to join our Format & Design Department  

During this internship you are part of the Concept and New Development Design Crew which are responsible to create the store concepts, furniture to show off our products and guard the brand identity. Due to the dynamic environment of Rituals, there are many tasks and projects that can be tackled during your internship.

  

YOUR ROLE

As the Format & Design intern your responsibility will be creating and updating existing concepts and supporting our inhouse design team.

 

Think of examples like:

It is a varied internship, so no day is the same. Within this internship there is room for a lot of personal input, and we expect a high degree of independence.      

You collaborate with our internal stakeholders. You reach out to external suppliers to brief projects and approve material samples. You will go on field trips to visit our stores and participate in our creative design meetings and brainstorm sessions.

 

YOUR INGREDIENTS

To be eligible for this internship you must be currently enrolled in a Dutch MBO or HBO study and living in the Netherlands. The internship period starts per September 2024 for 5 or 6 months (with a minimum of 3 days per week in our office in Amsterdam). Do you also recognize yourself in the bullet points below? Then don’t hesitate and apply

  • You are currently studying spatial, interior or product design. (or similar)
  • You have 3D software experience. (Sketch-up or Vectorworks)
  • You have good sketching skills and know how to translate this into 3D models.
  • You are familiar with Adobe (Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • You can work independent but are also a good team-player.
  • You are comfortable and confident to present in English.
  • You are eager to learn, you are able to think out-of-the-box.
