As the Lead Engineer, you are responsible for theengineering aspects of the project. A significant part of the roleinvolves managing and supervising Interface and System Engineerswho, under your direction, will handle the detailed engineeringwork.

The scope of the projects includes theengineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning ofpower distribution systems such as medium and low voltageswitchgear, transformers, power distribution units, busbar systems,digital protection, automation and monitoring systems, and modularsolutions like E-Houses and Skids.

Your roleinvolves maintaining an overview and ensuring the various designsand disciplines are functionally aligned and delivered within theagreed budget and schedule. The dynamic environment created byshort lead times and high customer requirements must be effectivelymanaged.

In addition to managing the engineeringteam, you will have frequent contact with the client, providingadvice and ensuring coordination between the designs andstakeholders, making you the technical point of contact. There willbe intensive collaboration with the Project Manager on everyproject.

Functie-eisen
  • Bachelor or Master degree in ElectricalEngineering
  • 7+ years of relevantexperience
  • Practical andtheoretical experience with low and medium voltage switchgear,transformers, short-circuit and selectivity calculations, andstandards such as IEC 61439.
  • Experience inpreparing technical reports and testplans.
  • Skilled in making,monitoring, and realizing engineering and executionplans.
