About the Job

We are currently offering an internship at the heart of the Global S&O Planning team in an open and international environment. The S&OP team is responsible to ensure product availability by balancing supply and demand across local markets and manufacturing sites in Europe.

You will be working on Material Requirement Planning inside Specialized Nutrition Unit, ensuring optimal availability of Raws&Packs.

You will learn the fundamentals of planning in a complex environment as well as contribute to business by participating in processes & tools improvement projects.

In this role, you will be supervised by the Material Planning Manager. Your stakeholders will be factories across Europe and the Procurement team. So if you are interested in Supply & Operations Planning and ready to show your enthusiasm, then join us at Danone

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Be

Support the material planning team with running long-term planning monthly routines focused on Raws&Packs (e.g. data consolidation, analysis and lead action based on analysis outcome, coordinate meetings with factories and Procurement team) Co-lead improvement project(s) related to our tools and processes (e.g. inventory monitoring, performance tracking, network harmonization)

OVER JOU

You are a Bachelor/Master's student in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Economics or any related field. Previous experience in Supply Chain is a plus.

We are searching for a candidate with strong data management skills and analytical mindset, who's able to utilize BI and relevant tools (such as Excel, Power BI) to provide efficient and accurate reporting. Additionally, your eye for detail and logical mindset allows you to spot critical information in the data provided, supporting you in gathering useful insights that can be transformed into solutions. You are a fast learner, team player, have positive energy and ability to prioritize to always meet deadlines. You are not afraid to challenge situations and bring your own ideas forward in order to act proactively in a fast-paced environment. Your strong communication skills enable you to have clear and effective communication with stakeholders.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university); Ideally available to start in May for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week; You are fluent in English - oral and written; You are able to work from Hoofddorp office 1-2 times per week. Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
