Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Innovation Realization Project Manager with a proven track record in leading and delivering complex multidisciplinary projects within the healthcare (technology) domain.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, one who is adept at navigating the intricacies of both Philips and the healthcare industry and possesses a strong background in driving innovation from its nascency to market introduction for medical devices or itâs corresponding applications. 
 

Your role:

  • As a Senior Project Manager in Innovation Engineering, you are responsible for setting up successful delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects across Philips Businesses and Functions.

  • Leveraging your expertise in project management and your understanding of the healthcare quality and regulatory standards, you will drive cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and efficient execution of projects that align with the company's strategic objectives. 

  • As a senior project manager, you drive documentation , conceptualise & execute project planning, lead stakeholder dialogues , apply best risk management practices, organize for resource allocation and implement quality assurance within your own projects. 

  • The Innovation Realization group prides on providing strong project management capabilities to the businesses, applying Philips processes with a focus on Product Development Launch & Maintenance and Modifications of Launched Designs towards the back end of the innovation flywheel . 

  • The projects that you will lead span across a range of disciplines such as software, hardware, supply management, IFU development, supply chain management, norm and regulatory approval, industrialization and submission for approval by notified bodies. industrialization services. The projects intend to bring medical devices or applications to market and requires strong focus on quality, safety and QMS adherence. 

  • You will report into the Innovation Realization Group Leader, and you are part of the Innovation Project Management department, a group of approximately 30 senior project managers with a broad set of project management competences. 

  • You are responsible for acquisition of your own projects through stakeholder engagement, in close cooperation with Business Development Management

You're the right fit if you have:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field. 

  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with a focus on innovation realization in the healthcare sector. 

  • You have experience executing medical regulated projects involving market introductions. 

  • Proven success in leading complex projects from initiation to market introduction with multi-site teams 

  • Proven success in working with partners in development, supply chain, industrialization, regulatory 

  • Extensive experience in executing Product Development Launch & Maintenance, Modify Launched Design projects. 

  • Strong understanding of medical device regulations, compliance, and industry trends. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Comfortable and experienced with bringing nuanced information to senior stakeholders & steering committees, ability to shape the project in line with stakeholder expectations. 

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is required.

  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
