    As a Cyber Security Specialist at VodafoneZiggo, you secure our customer data and assets with a clear vision that you are also communicate to colleagues. You work today on tomorrow's technologies. This is because it is crucial that we guard the data of our customers and employees according to the latest security standards and policies. The Security Operations department is responsible for the security of the VodafoneZiggo infrastructure and monitoring the associated technical security policies. Security Incident & Response, Logging & monitoring, Hardening, Vulnerability and Patch Management are important areas of responsibility within the department. What we offer

      As a Security Specialist you work in 1 or more of the aforementioned areas and you will be the security conscience of Security Operations towards other departments and asset/product owners within Technology, help to test compliance with current security policies and advise on improvements from your area.

      You have what it takes:

      • At least a completed technical HBO/WO education, preferably in the field of Computer Science or Security
      • At least 2 years of experience in a Security (Operations) environment; technical knowledge and background is a plus.
      • At least 2 years of working experience in the Security field
      • A team player who is ready to help his colleagues increase their knowledge and skills as well as achieve their and the departmental goals.
      • Thorough knowledge of security incident handling, vulnerability management technologies, SIEM technologies, EDR solutions, best practices and continuous improvement strategies (from the perspective of both technology and operational processes);
      • Good knowledge of network protocols, operating systems and/or cloud environments
      • A CISSP or other relevant certification for security domain (e.g. Security+, Cysa+, Network+, and/or SC-200), ethical hacking and incident handling (e.g. CEH, GCIH and/or OSCP).
      • One or more certifications in the field of Cloud Security Azure/AWS (e.g. SC-200, SC-300 and/or AWS SySOps) or the ambition to obtain these certifications.
      • Fluent in Dutch and English
