The opportunity

A Senior Infrastructure Specialist opportunity with our global Workplace Technology team. Working with a group of other Specialists to provide tech solutions to our users around the world.

The  Senior Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for keeping internal systems up and running at all times, and takes the lead in the innovative projects to automate and improve the systems. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the existing infrastructure

  • Respond to the tickets and requests raised by other teams in the company

  • Take the lead in technical projects and deployments

  • Implement solutions for internal teams globally

  • Collaborate with the other teams

  • Use best practices to improve products/services or processes

  • Optimise existing SaaS configurations to meet changing requirements

  • Hold requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders


 

Your Profile & Recommended Experience

  • 'AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate' or above required(Knowledge in the technologies like:EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB/RDS).

  • Strong expertise in Linux systems administration.

  • Solid experience in Windows systems administration.

  • Competent programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Powershell, JavaScript, and Bash.

  • Solid experience in Azure and Azure AD.

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Serverless Framework.

  • Thorough understanding of Network protocols and traffic management.

  • Experience with version control repositories such as Github/Gitlab.

  • Passion for automating processes.

  • Knowledgeable in Virtualization and Containers, including Vmware, Hyper-V, Docker, and Container Orchestration.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work and promote best practices.

  • Capable of working independently and solving complex problems.

  • Committed to using best practices to enhance products/services and processes.

  • Stays up to date with new technology and existing software used in group

Nice to have

  • Experience with Monitoring and Logging/Auditing tools

  • Experience with Security Audits

  • Experience with Slack and Jira

  • Experience with PKI Structure (Certificates and Certification Authorities)
