Currently, we are looking for an Analyst Finance for the Department Tax Operations Europe within Sabic.


As the individual responsible for preparing and reviewing European VAT/DTX/TP compliance, you perform VAT reconciliations and manage the reclaiming of foreign VAT. Additionally, you liaise with colleagues from Finance, Shared Financial Services, Treasury, Procurement, and Supply Chain. You are also responsible for maintaining and optimizing VAT/DTX/TP processes as part of the Tax Control Framework. Identifying VAT/DTX/TP risks and opportunities is part of your duties, as well as building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, tax authorities, third-party advisors, and external auditors.

Functie-eisen

For this position, we are looking for an ambitious Financial with the following:

  • Bachelors level (Tax Economics or Business Administration HEAO-BE) with 1-3 years of working experience
  • Relevant experience within an EU VAT/DTX/TP environment, preferably a combination of industry and Big 4 experience;
  • Knowledge of Dutch and EU VAT/DTX/TP;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English;
  • Familiar with ERP systems (preferably SAP);

  • Maximum salary of €4000,- depending on work experience
