We are looking for a Site Planning & Logistics Manager to lead the Supply Chain team of Landing Gear based in Papendrecht. The purpose of this role is to lead a team of Supply Chain professionals and deliver operational performance using standard SCM business processes and strategies. The scope includes Planning & Scheduling, Logistics, and associated performance metrics (Delivery, SA, Logistics costs, DIO, etc.). The role is responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of Supply Chain Management standard processes. As a member of the site leadership team, the Site Planning & Logistics Manager acts as the "conductor" for planning and logistics, ensuring compliance with management processes and alignment with the rest of the site. What You'll Do
Design a company culture in line with GKN Aerospace’s values as "A Great Place to Work." Ensure a safe working environment for SCM and logistics employees. Lead the SCM team focusing on goals, performance, talent management, and organizational planning. Execute the global Supply Chain Management strategy. Manage and improve planning processes (SIOP, MPS) within the site. Coordinate Operations Supply Review (SIOP) and connections between program teams and the site team. Optimize inventory strategy and performance (DIO). Implement GKNA standards and continuous improvements. Monitor and analyze SCM metrics. Manage logistics activities and associated costs, including freight, storage, and internal movements. Responsible for the total costs of the SCM function, including staffing and budgets. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8+ years' experience as a Site Planning & Logistics Manager within an aerospace manufacturing organization. Proven experience in effectively managing supply chain (logistics & planning) processes and driving operational performance. You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English, and preferably in Dutch. If you do not yet speak Dutch, you are willing to learn it in the short term to ensure effective communication within the team. As a team player, you are willing to work closely with others and are flexible in accepting additional responsibilities to achieve the team's and organization's goals. Living in the vicinity of Papendrecht, or willing to permanently relocate. We Are Fokker Landing GearFokker Landing Gear, part of GKN Fokker Aerospace, is a recognized specialist in landing gear and related systems. We focus on designing, developing, manufacturing, and assembling complete landing gears, as well as repairing and reassembling systems already in use. We work on some of the most renowned aircraft and helicopters, such as the Apache attack helicopter, the F-35 Lightning II (JSF), the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, and the multi-purpose NH90 maritime combat helicopter.
