We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Loss Adjuster to join our Frankfurt Operations Claims Department Based in the Amsterdam office, this role will report to Volker Bruehl, Assistant Operations Claims Manager.

The role will involve the investigation, negotiation and settlement of predominantly large, complex Property Damage and Business Interruption claims in an equitable manner to the satisfaction of the client and FM Global in accordance with policy terms and conditions.

The incumbent provides direction and assistance to the client with loss mitigation, salvage, restoration of production, claims preparation and subrogation while learning and applying our business goals and operating within a financial authority framework. With responsibility for developing and nurturing relationships with our policyholders, we will provide you with training (including classroom, office and field) to confidently investigate, triage, mitigate and lead all aspects of large commercial property claims. You will connect and collaborate with a wide variety of people including lawyers, specialists and consultants from various technical areas including forensics, engineering and finance. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a high level of personal credibility through outstanding interpersonal skills and an aptitude for negotiation.

As experience develops, this position also becomes integrated with the account team providing customized workshops, pre-loss preparation as well as policy and claims consulting.

The position is office based with required field work.
