About this role:

As a People Technology Specialist you will be part of the People Technology Development team responsible for the Product Area of ‘People Experience’. 

You will design, deliver and maintain solutions across a variety of systems related to your Product Area including Workday. For the Product area of ‘People Experience’ this includes Recruiting, Rewards, Talent and Learning related systems. 

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
  • Confidently providing operational support for systems owned and operated by the People Technology Team including Workday.
  • Contributing to task prioritization, identifying parallel tasks, and recognising when new issues should be treated as higher priorities.
  • Actively learning the domain and seeking guidance from more senior team members on technical decisions and actions.
  • Independently configuring Workday, conducting unit testing, user testing, and moving configurations into production.
  • Supporting more senior colleagues in configuring and testing complex HR Technology systems.
  • Understanding the importance of secure configuration practices and independently identifying where security needs to be considered.
  • Influencing others within HR by explaining facts, policies, and practices.

 What will you bring to the table?
  • Experience in HR operations or technology and preferably experience with Workday and/or similar systems.
  • A good understanding of different HR processes
  • Ability to Interact effectively with stakeholders, addressing problems promptly whilst focusing on enhancing the employee experience.
  • Proactively develops skills in new areas to expand knowledge and support team members.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm for collaboration and participates in skill-sharing opportunities.
