Job Description
Yacht Life Sciences has a vacancy for a (Jr.) Process Engineer/ Molding Specialist to work at Johnson & Johnson Vision in Groningen (the Netherlands).
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Process Engineer to support daily manufacturing operations on the manufacturing floor by coordinating basic engineering activities to effect high quality processes and design guidelines for dissemination throughout the division.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide basic design reviews and feedback for improvements in manufacturability
  • Maintain equipment, materials, and process performance requirements
  • Perform vendor and equipment searches to ensure adequate capability to produce quality products in required quantities at effective costs
  • Coordinate designed experiments and capability studies, documents process specifications, and procures process tools
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of suitable equipment for optimized, balanced line performance
  • Support new processes and equipment analysis
  • Develop process documentation and maintains training material on processes, materials, and equipment

Job requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biopharma, Process Technology
  • > 1 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience with Manufacturing principles
  • Experience on molding process (must have)
  • Experience in process development, preferably in molding and curing type processing and process equipment [Chemical engineering]
  • Experience in medical device industry (GMP, Design Control)
  • Process characterization experience
  • Good documentation skills; e.g. experience with report writing, instructions.

Terms of employment
We offer a challenging position which allows you to work in a dynamic and international environment, ensuring diversity in your work and creating plenty of opportunities for personal development.
This concerns a secondment contract for one year via YACHT with an initial assignment for 12 months at Johnson & Johnson. We will offer a competitive benefit package in line with the seniority of the position, with a salary between 2700 and 3700 euro gross per 4-week period (based on full-time employment). Working full-time is preferred (32 or 36 hours can be discussed)
