Best, Nederland Dyson NL Voltijd

We are looking for Intern Mechanical Engineer to join Dyson Digital Motor (DDM) mechanical team, which is under Dyson Global Power Systems group, to deliver our next generation motors on time, on cost and on quality/reliability, and also continuous improvements of "in-production" motors to maximize category profit to support Dyson business excellence. About the role

  • Best practice on design for DDM mechanical reliability and quality - Responsible for DDM mechanical robustness from component level, sub-assembly level to final assembly and also related processes from prototype to mass production. Well practice closed-loop reliability process, which including design, development, verification/validation, field performance and feeding back into next iteration of design.

  • Conduct physical mechanical verifications (motor life test, vibration, impact, environmental…) and other investigations to support project delivery on specifications.

  • Responsible for FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System) – lead/support failure analysis, failure mechanism and root cause identification, and work with other teams (electronics team, operations quality team and engineering team etc) on design change, process improvement, quality control and corrective action implementation.
