About this role

Our Platform Engineering Early Careers Program is specifically designed to develop you across an 18 month period of learning, growth and delivery within our Platform Engineering teams here at Just Eat Takeaway.com.

Upon joining the Program you will undertake a minimum of 3 defined rotations within our platform teams rotations will include: platform engineering, engineering operations and architecture, which will help to layer your learning of the business. You will also develop your knowledge and technical competency of software/coding whilst successfully supporting in delivering key business projects.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

Assist in the design, coding and testing of technical solutions, under guidance of the team. Support and assist with conducting requirements analysis and high-level design/modelling to convert customer needs into software solutions. Start using programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write software code under guidance. Participate in automated software testing (using programming languages to write code for use in testing the application/software code), performing analysis of test results, and tracking/reporting risk levels during test execution. Monitor, track and report on data-related business requirements and service standards.

What will you bring to the table?

Basic understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure You may have a related degree or bootcamp qualifications/experience although this is not necessary A good problem solver with a humble & inquisitive approach An analytical thinker Ability to adapt and work in a truly international and dynamic business A proactive attitude
