We are looking for a passionate and experienced Talent Manager to drive our talent strategy and ensure that we continue to engage, develop and retain top talent from all backgrounds. 
As the Talent Manager at Trivium Packaging, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce and ensuring that we implement equitable talent management practices.

 

Your responsibilities 
 
Talent Strategy and Assessment
•    Lead the organization’s talent assessment processes by evaluating employee skills, leadership potential, and areas for growth in alignment with strategic business needs.
•    Partner with leadership, HRBPs, and key stakeholders to identify high-potential employees and develop comprehensive development plans to accelerate their readiness for critical roles.
•    Drive organization-wide initiatives to enhance feedback, coaching, and growth opportunities, ensuring alignment with long-term talent goals.


Succession Planning
•    Own and lead the development and execution of strategic succession planning for key leadership roles, ensuring a pipeline of future leaders is prepared for advancement.
•    Collaborate closely with business leaders and HRBPs to identify successors for mission-critical roles and implement targeted development strategies.
•    Regularly evaluate and update succession plans to align with organizational changes and evolving business priorities.


Performance Management

•    Lead the design and execution of performance management programs, including objective-setting, performance reviews, and feedback processes, in close collaboration with the Director of Talent and senior leadership.
•    Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HRBPs, providing insights and guidance on managing performance challenges and driving improvement.
•    Analyze performance data at a macro level to identify organizational trends and areas for performance enhancement, sharing insights with leadership.


Career Development and Coaching

•    Oversee career development frameworks in partnership with L&D department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee aspirations, providing guidance to HRBPs and business leaders.
•    Facilitate career growth discussions and development initiatives, enabling employees to enhance their skills and advance their careers within the company.
•    Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at building tailored career pathways and growth opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous development.


Workforce Planning and Optimization

•    Design strategic workforce planning frameworks and implement initiatives to ensure talent allocation aligns with the organization’s long-term objectives.
•    Collaborate with senior leaders and functional heads to assess future talent needs, proactively identifying gaps and deploying resources effectively.


Talent Analytics and Reporting

•    Leverage advanced talent analytics and data insights to measure the effectiveness of talent management strategies and identify improvement opportunities.
•    Present talent trends, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leaders, providing actionable insights to inform strategic talent decisions.
•    Partner with data and reporting teams to ensure robust, accurate talent metrics are captured and reported, utilizing platforms such as Power BI.


Best Practice Leadership and Compliance

•    Stay ahead of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and talent management innovations, applying this knowledge to enhance the organization’s talent strategies.
•    Ensure that all talent processes and initiatives adhere to internal policies and external legal requirements, driving compliance and risk mitigation.


Additional Responsibilities

•    Lead and oversee UAT testing and ongoing system enhancements to ensure the functionality and efficiency of talent management platforms.
•    Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and process maps related to talent management procedures.
•    Drive continuous improvement efforts by managing ad-hoc requests, system-related projects, and reporting needs related to talent management.

•    You bring significant, demonstrated experience in talent management, human resources, or related fields, at a strategic and operational level.
•    You possess deep expertise in talent assessment, succession planning, performance management, career development, and workforce planning.
•    You have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and initiatives that drive talent development across an organization.
•    You are highly skilled in analyzing and interpreting talent data, trends, and metrics to inform talent strategies and organizational decisions.
•    You have hands-on experience with HR technology platforms like SuccessFactors and are adept at driving digital transformations in talent management systems.

•    You are a skilled communicator, adept at influencing and engaging with senior leaders and stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
•    You excel at collaborating across cross-functional teams to align talent strategies with broader business objectives.
•    You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
•    You foster an inclusive, empathetic, and people-centered approach, ensuring talent management strategies reflect diverse perspectives and needs.
•    Lead efforts to promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge-sharing to enhance organizational agility and talent mobility.
