Yacht Life Sciences has a vacancy for an Assistant Scientist to work at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden.
This temporary job for at least 1 Year at DPDS (Discovery Product Development and Supply) BTDS (BioTherapeutics Development & Supply) AD (Analytical Development) at Janssen Biologics B.V., will provide you a wonderful opportunity
DPDS BTDS AD is a Research and Development department built on several pillars.
The pillars are divided based on therapeutic areas and specific techniques.
All pillars are supported by the lab operation pilar.

Your responsibilities:

• As part of the Lab operation support team, you will support the testing of samples obtained from several studies, projects and/or, investigations.
• You will support co-validations and troubleshoot activities.
• You will provide documentation to help study directors with the preparation of technical reports and other documents that record data or results.
• And to support this, you must keep accurate records of work undertaken.

Job requirements

• Bachelor in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or similar
• Experience working within a cGMP environment
• Experienced in one or more of the following techniques: MS, LC/MS, ELSD, cIEF, cSDS, SEC (peptide mapping, oligosaccharide), A280, IEF and SDS-PAGE

Competencies

• Interpersonal skills - good command of speaking and writing of country languages and English
• Positive attitude, enthusiastic and motivated
• Analytical thinking and (technical) problem solving.
• Pro Active, works independently, takes actions in case there is a problem

This concerns a secondment contract for one year via Yacht with an initial assignment for 12 months at Johnson & Johnson.
We will offer a competitive benefit package in line with the seniority of the position. Salary between 3500 and 4100 euro gross (per 4-week period).
Working full-time is preferred (32 or 36 hours can be discussed)
