Assistant accountant

For our client in 's Hertogenbosch we are looking for an assistant accountant. You are going to work for approximately 32 hours a week. During the month's closing you will work for approximately 40 hours a week. The company is a top tier provider. With a background in finance and strong analytical skills, you are able to communicate complex financial information clearly with your colleagues. • you have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting;
• you have excellent oral and written skills in English;
• you have good MS office skills, specifically Excel and Word;
• knowledge of SAP is a plus;
• you are a team player;
• a minimum of two years experience in accounting is preferred.

Your daily tasks will consist of entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmentalentries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports. You will assist in the development of monthly and annual reports, as well as in the quarterly reviews or annual audit with internal and external auditors. In the end, you will make sure that all financial information complies with the professional and regulatory standards.

• daily reporting on incoming and outgoing cash flows;
• working closely with other colleagues within the accounting department for internal control of the manual journal entry and balance sheet reconciliations;
• performing audits on financial data to assure its accuracy;
• assist with various ad-hoc financial reporting;
• work with cross-functional teams (A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, sales, legal etc.)
