As a Naval Architect at Allseas Delft you will be responsible for analysis of our vessels’ capabilities, operations, design and modifications. You are working on large and complex offshore projects, contributing to the design and optimization of specialized vessels, and pushing technological boundaries in the offshore energy industry. This includes working on dynamic analysis, offshore procedures, hybridisation, mooring, hydrodynamics, stability, global hull analysis and DP capabilities. Besides this you will have the opportunity to guide and lead colleagues and complex projects, depending on your experience.
You will join a team of about 20 naval architects with large experience in developing and executing complex projects with special vessels. You will report to the Naval Department Head.
Other responsibilities and tasks
Assist and advise technical and operational departments on ensuring compliance with vessel class requirements and relevant codes, Develop new procedures and assist with the design of new equipment, Prepare vessel modification proposals and/or liaise with other disciplines within project teams, Work offshore occasionally. What we expect from you Master degree in Maritime Technology, A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience, Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, You are able to break down complex technical problems into solvable tasks, Excellent communication and teamwork skills, Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
