Job Description
VDL ETG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working independently within a team of 5-10 professionals, contributing to the design and development of innovative mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute mechanical design tasks while collaborating within a team environment.
- Engage effectively in English, as 75% of meetings and communications are in English, and all documentation is in English.
- Utilize your engineering expertise to contribute to complex projects, ensuring high standards and precision.
- Leverage your knowledge and experience with ASML Ways of Working (WoW), including a minimum of 1 year of direct experience with ASML.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter (TC) within the ASML environment.
- Apply a thorough understanding of the modification principles essential for this role.
- Establish and maintain effective contacts and professional relationships within and outside the team.
- Follow up on your work diligently, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with a strong background in mechanical design.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
- Proven experience working with ASML and a comprehensive understanding of ASML WoW.
- Expertise in Siemens NX and Teamcenter, specifically in the ASML context.
- Ability to understand and apply modification principles in mechanical design projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to make connections and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Primary employment conditions
- A gross monthly salary of €5000 based on experience and education
- A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
- 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries
Secondary employment conditions
- Pension Plus scheme (build-up from day 1)
- 5% ADV allowance
- Net €750,- to set up your home workplace
- 25 vacation days per year based on 40 hours
- Travel allowance
- Internet allowance
- Home working allowance
