As a Product Industrialization Engineer, you will be an integral part of the product industrialization team for IGT-S based in Best. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating the seamless transition from product development to manufacturing, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and reliability in our production processes. This role offers you the opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment within the Product Development Lifecycle Management (PDLM) framework, ultimately driving predictable, stable, and efficient production.


Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant processes for product introductions, qualifications, and release
  • Provide manufacturing input throughout the PDLM process, focusing on Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Test (DfMAT)
  • Lead and execute optimization initiatives for initial investments in capital expenditure (Capex)
  • Define manufacturing requirements based on product specifications and test requirements from R&D, ensuring alignment with process and equipment capabilities
  • Champion design for lean manufacturing principles and integrate them into PDLM workflows
  • Drive PDLM-driven design changes within Philips factories and at suppliers, overseeing their implementation
  • Manage Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MF BOM) and routing Master data until release for shipment, including PDLM-driven changes
  • Establish inspection and test criteria for Philips-owned components and assemblies
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement



The Skills you bring with you:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in design transfer and manufacturing transfer projects
  • Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), 8D, Statistical Process Control (SPC), A3, and Lean Manufacturing
  • Preferably, experience with process validation methodologies (pMap, pFMEA, Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ))
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset, along with a results-driven and quality-focused approach
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English and Dutch
